Other ways to Give. There are a number of ways you can help Taste The World achieve their fund raising goals. You are welcome to direct your gift to treatment of Malaria, TB, malnutrition, the training of community healthcare workers, oxygen cylinders and / or specifically to Laos or Myanmar. Please provide any special instructions in the comments box on the donation page of CanadaHelps.

What does it cost? How far does your gift go?

  • As little as $7.00 to treat Malaria per patient at MAM
  • $10 for 1 oxygen cylinder for life threatening surgery at LFHC
  • $75 provides one day of operations in the Outpatient Pharmacy
  • $100 provides 75 homecare patients with food supplies LFHC/MAM
  • $500 provides staff with 10 stethoscopes LFHC/MAM
  • $1000 treats 200 children for infectious disease at MAM
  • $1250 purchases a microscope for MAM Lab Techs

At our last Taste the World event, we raised $151,000 in net proceeds, treating over 31,500 children. Together we can do more!

Every kid deserves to grow up healthy. Having witnessed children mired in poverty, this cause stuck a chord.

Gratitude is how I feel being involved with Taste the World and the CW Asia Fund; a gathering of exceptional people to make a significant difference. Not only does each dollar create such a dramatic impact but the follow-up, due diligence and involvement that we have in each project’s success is the deepest sense of gratitude one can feel.
